DOLE 9 ranks 1st on SenA's speedy and expeditious process in the settlement of RFAs

Zamboanga City - The National Conciliation and Mediation Board Central Office has commended the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 9 (DOLE RO 9) being the fastest Regional Office in the settlement of Requests for Assistance (RFA).
In an updated summary report for the first semester of this year, on the regionwide implementation of the Single Entry Approach (SenA) Program, DOLE RO 9's Single Entry Approach Desk Officers (SEADOs) were able to handle 186 RFAs and were able to dispose 178 RFAs with 92% disposition rate in an average duration of 2 days. The office settled 126 RFAs with an average duration of 3 days benefitting 204 workers with a total amount of P2,675,822.94. As a whole, the settlement rate for Region 9 pegged to 71%.
As to settlement, DOLE RO-9 settled the RFAs on an average of 3 days, while majority of the Regional Offices settled the RFAs within 5 to 23 days or with an average of 12 days.
DOLE RO 9 Regional Director Sisinio B. Cano expressed his appreciation on the said result, emphasizing that the reason why this office had been consistent with the result since last year, was due to the speedy attention given by the SEADOs when such requests are being forwarded to the Field Offices, Attached Agencies, and the Regional Office
