Dapitan City - The newly elected officers of the Hotel, Restaurant, and Pension House Industry Tripartite Council (HRPITC) and Dapitan City Tourism Industry Tripartite Council (DCTITC) were formally installed in their positions last February 3, 2016 at Dapitan City Resort Hotel. Dapitan City Vice Mayor Ruben Cad graced the occasion as the inducting officer.

After the re-organization of the HRPITC last November 18, 2016, Dapitan Tourism key players and stakeholders agreed to come up with a tourism industry with HRPITC as part and member hereof. The following are the newly inducted officers of the DCTITC Chairperson: Apple Marie Agulong, Vice Chair For Management:Jeffrey Torres, Vice Chair For Labor: George Recamara, Secretary: Martina Talic, Treasurer: Pablo S. Odantabao, Auditor: Madra S. Talib, P.I.O: Rey Calasang, and the Board Of Directors: Jasper Bolo, Maribel Sanico, Gerardo Adraincem, Imelda Mandantes, Consuelo Hamac, Estrellas Llagas, Merlyn Jamolod, Patri Chan, Rubilyn Repaso, and Arlyn Obordo, who formally accepted the responsibilities as their council's representatives.

Adding value to the occasion, learning sessions on Freedom of Association (FOA), Incentivizing Compliance Program (ICP) and #EngageMotivateAchieve were facilitated by Labor Law Compliance Officers Lyra R. Paulino, Zanorte TIPC Focal, and Cyrus P. Tingcang. Thereafter, the signing of the Voluntary Code of Good Practices by the Hotel, Restaurant, and Pension House Industry Tripartite Council punched the clock. An open forum ensued during which, the council members deliberated on their plans of actions before the day concluded.

Hopefully, this will hearten our pursuit on promoting social partnership and dialogues for sustainable and sound labor and management relations; empowering the workers and quality corporate social responsibilities.
