New hopes, bright opportunities await RD Cano

Steadfast in his ways, but firm in making decisions. Knowing what is best and right for the welfare of his constituents, possessing skills to figure out each individual employee's talents, learning his employees' strengths, weaknesses, what motivates them and their unique style of learning, a good father in his own unique way, naturally, these qualities enable DOLE RO-9 Regional Director Sisinio B. Cano to reap the fruits of his labor.
Today, mark the 20th of June, at the Office of the Secretary of Labor and Employment in Intramuros, Manila, and after two years of serving as Officer-in-Charge of DOLE RO-9, Director Cano will be taking his oath as a full-pledged Regional Director.
The appointment that came from the Malaca?an Palace, dated 30 May 2014, stipulated that Dir. Cano, pursuant to the provisions of the existing laws, was appointed Director IV of the Department of Labor and Employment.
Prior to his assignment as Director in Region 9, Cano also served the Caraga Region as Board Secretary VI of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) in concurrent capacity as OIC- Assistant Regional Director of the said region. In October 21, 2008, he then became the Assistant Regional Director of Region X, and on February 5, 2012, invaded the Zamboanga Peninsula Region in his own gentle way.
During his stint as OIC-Regional Director, Cano made a name in Zamboanga Peninsula by performing his duties and responsibilities excellently as he delivers the programs and services of DOLE in ways that DOLE ZamPen will be placed in the limelight.
A true public servant, and following his appointment as full-pledged Regional Director, he will continue to soar higher to deliver to serve, to manage, and to lead.
