SPES Got Talent 4 on Saulog celebrates with a Bang

Dipolog City - The SPES Got Talent 4 concludes the month-long labor celebration with jubilation during the second night of Dipolog's Saulog last May 31, 2014 at the Boulevard of Dipolog City.
The Department of Labor and Employment Zamboanga del Norte Field Office (DOLE-ZDNFO), Local Government Unit of Dipolog City (LGU-Dipolog), Tripartite Industrial Peace Council- Dipolog (TIPC-Dipolog), and Zamboanga del Norte Association of PESO Managers (ZANAPESO) intend to showcase individual and group talents of poor but deserving youths under the Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).
The night glistened as Saint Joseph College-Sindangan triumphed with P5,000.00 first prize, LGU- Sergio Osme?a with P3,000.00 for second prize, and Saint Vincent's College with P2,000.00 third prize while Dipolog City Institute of Technology (DCIT), LGU-Dipolog, Provincial Government Office (PGO), LGU-La Libertad, Baron Bakeshop, Asialink, and Andres Bonifacio College bring home the consolation prizes for the individual category.
JRMSU- Dipolog swaggers won the first prize worth P15,000.00, LGU- Baliguian with P10,000.00 as second prize, and Saint Vincent's College divided the P6,000.00 for the third prize under the group category. Andres Bonifacio College, Dipolog City Institute of Technology (DCIT), LGU-Liloy, Provincial Government Office (PGO), Saint Joseph College- Sindangan, LGU-Labason earned the rest of the prizes made available by the Administration of Gov. Roberto Y. Uy worth P45,000.00.
Ms. Ebba Acosta, DOLE Oroquieta Provincial Head, Mr. Ian Dugaduga, Teacher III, and Atty. Paul G. Gudmalin, Dipolog Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, found themselves in a tight spot on choosing the winners.
After a graceful rendition of "The Prayer" by Ms. Danielle B. Sumondong, Mr. Felipe A. Pialago, Zanapeso President, welcomed everyone with a zest. Mr. Ryan P. Miranda, PESO Manager of PGO shared the message of Gov. Uy, who expressed his appreciation in the Saulog Festival. He further committed to support DOLE and other government programs that will help the people of Zamboanga del Norte.
